I started Matthews Tree Care in 2005. With 14 years in the tree care industry I still continue to learn and share industry knowledge with our patrons. I have additional experience in commercial forestry, landscape construction and retail nursery services. All in all I have spent most my life in the forest, on the beach or in trees. Originally from small town Oregon, I moved to Portland in the mid 1990's. Currently I’m finishing a degree in business.
I am stoked to be the dad of two wonderful daughters. When not working you can find me playing an enthralling game of Checkers with them; or quietly reading poetry before anyone is awake.

Anna brings keen management and top notch customer relationship experience to our firm. We have collaborated to build a company that is customer centric. She effectively and passionately runs our business and our family.
We met in Portland listening to the same band. That was 10 years ago and we now live in Beaverton. Anna is an extraordinary mother to our daughters. When she’s off the clock you can find her studying nutrition and catching up on sleep.
